NO!!! Why would Shakira ever do such a thing?!? Who ever said that is lying!!
Plastic/bakelite is there to insulate the handle so you don't scorch your hand. Which you would do if handle was metal, or you forgot to use a cloth.

it depends on what you're talking about by the handle, but if i think i know what you're talking about it would be the neck where you hold onto it when pressing the strings down. I think thats's what you're talking about.
You would have to find a tube or something to release the handle and ratchet.
Yes, don't ask, say your dating or really good friends you should know if she lying or not.

Yes they didn't tell you because they know it is something wrong or not proper
No. From a Christian perspective, idolatry is worshipping something instead of God, putting something or someone in the place God should be in your life. If by "making up stories," you mean lying, then it is a sin, yes, but it would be the sin of lying, not of idolatry.
I think at least 40 % of them would lie.
Answer to know if someone is lying ask them what they told you a half hour ago and if they say something totally diffrent cause they dont remember what they told you the first time they are lying
No I would not at all because if she is lying she does not want you
Not telling the whole truth is quibbling--not lying. However, the intent in the quibbler's heart is meant to deceive. So, while you would be quibbling--not lying, you shouldn't tell portions of the truth because it is deceptive and leads people to believe something that they don't know all of.
This is an interesting question. You see, if he just walked up to you and said he was lying he might just be saying that and therefore his nose would grow because he is lying about the fact that he is not lying. BUT!! If he walked up to you and said he was lying and actually meant it, his nose would still grow because he was lying about something even though he was telling the truth and admitting that he was lying. So yes, either way, his nose would still grow. It's confusing, believe me, I know.

Well. "Lying" and "not telling the truth" are not always the same thing. "Lying is where you tell a person something with the purpose to deceive them. You can lie and still tell the truth. Here's an example. Obviously, if I told you the box was red and it really was red and I knew it was red, then I would be telling you the truth and not lying. If I told you the box was blue but it was really red but I thought it was blue, then I would be telling you the truth but I would not be lying. Now if I told the box was blue but it was really red and I knew it was red, then I would be both lying and not telling you the truth. And if I told you the box was blue but it was really red but I thought it was blue, then I would be lying but I would be telling you the truth. To answer your question, lying and being honest are the same things.
