I was told the song in the AT&T wireless commercial comes from the movie "Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory" with Gene WIlder.
Actually, Lenny Spinella sang the song. But rest assured. Those who recognized Gene's voice were kind of on the money.
Lenny is Gene's first cousin and they grew up together. Their voices sound a lot alike, but Lenny filled in for Gene on the recording date, as Gene was sick with the flu.
It's "La Vie en Rose" by Louis Armstrong. It was featured in the movie Wall-E also! hope this helps! :) Actually, the song is NOT "la vie en rose" however I do not remember the name of the song. All i know is that part of the song goes something like "it was just imagination" (to the tune that first comes on in the commercial), which is why the commercial is referencing "imagination" AAActually...called "Fascination".
It's a T-Mobile commercial not Sprint.The song is:"I've Got A Rock 'N' Roll Heart" by Eric Clapton
Buddy Holly sings that song!
The 1st movement of the Sonate Pathetique, by L. Beethoven.
"The One" by Mary J. Blige feat Drake
It's Dean Chekvala.
If I am thinking of the same commercial you are, then the song is "Pure Imagination" featured in the 1971 Film, Willy Wonka and the Choclate Factory.
The song in the commercial (the one that says "remember when you were 5? Happy 5th birthday) is called "Pure Imagination" that was in the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory movie.
"Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)
AT&T Birthday The song is Pure Imagination From Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
That's "Pure Imagination" from the soundtrack of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" 1971.
It's from Willa Wonka and it's Gene Wilder singing it.
Gene Wilder
It is Gene Wilder, wonderful actor, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
If you're referring to the song from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, (Pure Imagination) it's Gene Wilder. Or perhaps a very good impersonator, but I doubt it.
The 2010 and 2011 AT&T commercials (Happy 5th Birthday again) features the voice of actor Gene Wilder, in his song "Pure Imagination" from the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (1971).
