What is the song smoke and mirrors by black veil brides about?

From what i heard from the lyrics, one of them had a girlfriend or so, and "I'd rather be alone than put you on a throne." means that one of them would rather not date the person than to make them become famous. Its unknown if thats supposed to be for the good of the girl or not.... there is also more parts of the song that has different meaning, but i cant really explain it. just use your imagination and peice it together. the name Smoke and mirrors is about the obvious, their image and smoking. most expect that from a rock n roll band.

What it really means is Scout cheated on Andy and he is saying how her love for him was "all just smoke and mirrors" because if the person who wrote the answer above knew anything the phrase "smoke and mirrors" means an illusion and does NOT represent the band.

I'm thinking the song is about emo posers who try to go along with the trend and end up screwing up their lives and hurting others as a result. Smoke and mirrors represents the cigarette smoke and the mirrors in a bathroom where the person is applying her make up. She has become unlovable because of her vainity. That's what I'm guessing, I'm not 100% sure tho.
