Child abuse is a horrible subject that doesn"t belong in popular music. Sadly there have been a few such songs. I think you are attempting to describe ( Mr. Jesus) or Please, Mr. Jesus)- the girl is talking to God) She is subjected to abuse- no reason is given, not a punitive tactic, as far as I can see, there is nothing in the song that suggests that she dies. The song was recorded by a group called ( The Power Source) and the title of the group is somewhat misleading as this does not come on with crashing Electric Guitar chords sounding like crackling power equipment! It is a sad song, but certainly social commentary. a girl dies indirectly from child-labor ion the song Artificial Flowers ( recorded by Bobby Darin, who seemed to go for morbid songs, but no beatings or violence here) When the song was released, child-labor, at least in the Metropolitan United States, was effectively a Non-Problem, so the song was somewhat obsolete, like a horse and buggy crash!

Never, He plans on touring and making new songs till he dies.
It extends the note for exactly half its value. For example, a dotted half note is worth three beats. Half of a half note is one beat, add that on to the two beats a half note is already worth, and there you have it. Three beats. So, basically we have a half note: 2 We place a dot after it, this dot being worth half its value: 1 It becomes: 3 Half of a half note is not necessarily one beat. These dots have nothing whatsoever to do with beats. If you have a note with a dot after it, the length of that note is extended by 1/2 of that note's length. A second dot means it is extended a further 1/4. Completely irrespective of how many beats there are in a bar.

"Fried Green Tomatoes" has that as a subplot. Buddy, the older brother of Idgy Threadgood, dies when trying to retrieve a girl's hat.
The movie is called A Promise to Carolyn. It is a tv movie first aired in 1996 about three little girls who are abused by their stepmother and keep silent for a long time about how the youngest really died.
Boys.
In the fourth book, Mona dies. I don't know if any of the other girls die though.

nobody really dies, Joe Solomon is in a coma though, but nobody actually dies. If they killed someone off do you really think we would want to read it? It does go into Cammie's dad a little more..
He dies, becomes a little person, and dies again.
