No such thing. Once the license is suspended, it no longer exists. You'll need to appeal to the court or see whatever other actions are necessary to get a license. A good place to start may be the local drivers license testing office. See what they suggest. They can look up your record and tell you what will be necessary to get another license. After (if) you get your license back, make sure you obey all traffic laws and you'll never have the problem again. * A license is suspended for whatever period of time that was imposed by the judge of the court of jurisdiction. A suspended license is not a revoked license and in most states the person will be notifed when the imposed suspension time has expired and given the information of the procedure needed to have their driving privileges reinstated. A revoked license can be permanent or for a lengthy period of time. If it has been revoked for a stated period of time, rather than permanently the offender will be required to take (and of course pass) the written and the road test to acquire a new license. Questions concerning either action should be addressed to the office of the clerk of the court where the license was suspended or revoked.

In California, if you have gotten a DUI, there is no statute of limitations that applies. Due process has occurred and the penalty assessed. It is a part of the criminal record and does not go away.

If you have a lawyer they might be able to file a Serna motion to have it dismissed due to a lack of speedy trial if more than 1 year has passed since the incident, even if you didn't show up to court originally.

A traffic ticket is a notice of violation. The statute of limitations is to prevent one from being accused of a crime when the witnesses may no longer be available and defense difficult. In this case, you have already been notified of the violation and have not defended against it in the time allotted. As such, a traffic ticket does not expire and is not subject to a statute of limitations. Some jurisdictions will stop trying to collect, or declare on amnesty on tickets on a specific time frame.

Once a ticket has been issued, you have notice of the violation. The statute of limitations no longer applies. Otherwise it would match the appropriate misdemeanor limit for California.

Once California has issued the ticket there will not be a statute of limitations. The driver has already been given proper notice of the violation.

Texas license is suspended but you have a California license also?

When you licence is suspended in one state, your driving privileges are also suspended in that state until you get them reinstated. Additionally, if you get pulled over, display a California licence, and your suspended Texas licence comes up when they run your information through the system, your California licence will be taken away, and you could face a number of charges.Added; You may possess a drivers license ONLY from the state in which you reside. It is unlwful in ALL states to possess a drivers license from more than one state.

Will Nevada state issue a drivers license to a person when their California drivers license is suspended for DUI?

Absolutely not. The upper 50 states all run off of the same system. If your license is suspended in the state of your primary residence, you cannot get a drivers license in any other state until your status in your primary state changes. This even applies if you change your state of residence.
