C.G. Conn currently has one trumpet and two French horns listed as CONNstellation models. TRUMPET: Conn 52BSP - around $1,300 new. HORN: Conn 8D - varies depending on color, bell, and where it was made. Usually around $3,000 new, $3,000-$4,000 Elkhart. Conn 9D - also varies on specifics. Probably around $3000 new.
If it's a Conn trumpet, it's the model number. The Conn 20B is a student model horn.
The French horn. Though a brass instrument it most often sits with the woodwinds.
To maintain a french horn you have to:-don't eat with your horn(obviously)-clean your horn regularly-grease the valves with some sort of lubricant.-And at least once a month, run some warm, soapy water through the valves.
Yes french horn is the most important instrument
Hans Hoyer or Conn... In my opinion

Two common choices are the Conn 8D and the Holton H180. Yamaha is another popular option.

There is no horn relay on a 1970 mustang
Hmmm... yes... and no... Like any other instruments, if the higher quality instrument you want, the higher the price. I play the French horn, and I have a Conn 8DRS. It is an advanced/professional model and it cost about $3500. My beginner model was a cheap student model from eBay and it was CHEAP! :) I have a friend who plays the trumpet (major in music) and he bought his trumpet (good quality) in the $2000-$3000 range. Of course, you can always buy higher models and pay even MORE for your instrument, but if you want a good French horn, go with Conn or Hans Hoyer French horns. Hope this helps!
The reason why the french horn is called a french horn is because, even if it started to develop in Germany it was completed in France, heinz the name French Horn
