What is the value of a D-37 Martin Guitar?

I am the original owner of a Martin D35, 1976. This guitar drips beautiful notes. I have had the bracing repaired once ten years ago. I will never sell, but am curious of value. I have the original case and a martin pick up which was put in around 1993. Joe Durbin Baton Rouge

The value of a Martin D12-35 guitar today is not vested in what the owner wants to assign to it, but more so on what the market buyer is willing to pay. There is considerable inventory in the marketplace of $4,000 to $$7,000 "valued" D12-35s from the 1960s, yet very few change hands at those prices.

The other ingredient necessary to determine actual value will ALWAYS be the actual condition of the subject instrument.

Until there is some register or universal log established for recording the exchange pricing of these Guitars, we are left with applying a "best guess" valuation to the guitars and then looking for that buyer willing to pay that amount.

If it is in excellent condition it is realistically worth around $2000. You might get a little more. Unfortunately, they are not as collectable as D-28's.
