Assuming, this bass was made prior to 2004, Hagstrom made a some bass versions of their 6 string guitar models. The value of a Swede would be based on one of two models offered. The Super Swede guitar version is valued at $2,800 in 98% condition. The Swede version, $1,000 in 98% condition. The SE bass would most likely stand for "Standard Edition" thus meaning modeled after the Swede, not the Super Swede. The Super Swede Bass is estimated 10% higher in value than it's guitar counterpart therefore making a total value around $3100.
go to ultimateguitar.com. the in the search bar search the song and then you will se on the left side there is a section that says guitar, guitar tabs, bass, bass tabs, and others click on bass tabs. then you can pick the one you think is the best(usually the closest to a 5 star is what you want).
Don't know a lot about Hagstrom nowadays, but they used to be good quality second division guitars, the guy out of Abba use Hagstrom Swedes for years! I've got a PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow, it's very light and comfortable to play, with a beautiful neck and great feel. It seems very well made, but is a bit fussy over string gauge, the nut could probably be better. For me, the big let-down is the sound. The pickups are loud enough, but through my Orange Tiny Terror or my little Fender Frontman it sounds bland and insipid. There doesn't seem to be any light and shade between the pickups. It hasn't got a distinctive voice in my opinion. I'm in the process of putting a pair of PRS McCarty USA pickups in it, to see what difference it makes. On the numerous guitar forums opinion seems to be split, some people love the sound, plenty don't. I got the pickups off eBay for less than £100, so that's always an option. My advice would be to find one and try it, sound is very subjective, but to me this doesn't sound like a distinctive semi-hollow guitar.
