It depends on their condition and rarity. If they are in acceptable condition (this means no cracks, label tears, warps, deep scratches, and excess record wear) and on labels like Montgomery Ward, Bluebird or Victor, then you probably have some 78s that are desirable. But if they are in bad condition or on labels like Columbia, Conqueror or Vocalion, don't expect to get much money off them. Hope this helps!

June Carter Cash is one of the Carter Sisters, who were on stage with their mother, Mother Maybelle Carter, the famous woman who played in the Original Carter Family with the brother of her husband. June was the second of the 3 sisters; Helen and Anita the others.
June Carter Cash got her music education from the famous, Carter Family. Maybelle, A.P. (Alan Pleasant), and Sara Carter, which was the Carter Family, were country music's first commercially successful "traditional" act. Their first hit, was "Wildwood Flower," in 1928. The next hit would be, "Keep on the Sunny Side," also in 1928. In 1943, A.P. and Sara retired from music. Maybelle continued to perform with her daughters (June, Anita, and Helen), as Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters. Some other hits for the Carter Family included: "Gold Watch and Chain" ~ "Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes" ~ "The Worried Man Blues" ~ "Will the Circle be Unbroken" ~ and "Hello Stranger." The Carter Family was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1970.
