be, or べ is actually just a character in the syllabary, and does not actually mean anything.
I think the person asking wants to know how to say the word "be" in Japanese. As in, How do you say "I will be there soon" in Japanese? or How do you say "He will be three years old next month."
Answer
The best I can think of are ある (aru) and いる (iru). The both mean to be or to exist. The first is used for inanimate objects (e.g. rocks, rivers, trees) and the second is used for animate objects (e.g. animals). Also in polite language you can use "imasu" or even more polite "irasshaimasu" (います、いらっしゃいます) for "iru".
Also, the verb for is/am/are is です, pronounced "des". I thought I should add that because it is the main "being" verb.
