Something needs to be fixed. I'm not trying to be cruel here, I just don't think there is enough information to adequately answer the question. Most likely there is a problem with the radio, but I can't answer difinitively what the problem is, and neither could any other electronic repair technician. Without looking at it I couldn't tell you what the specific problem is. Check the fuse?
Chances are that, unless you have a high end stereo system in your Jeep with electric antenna, you probably have a fixed post antenna that will not retract. This can be replaced with an aftermarket antenna that can go down but my experience is that the sheet metal that the antenna is mounted to is at such a severe angle that every aftermarket mounting kit that I found will not allow the antenna to stand properly vertical. You might try the dealer if its important enough. I believe they got away from the older style retractable antennas because they just don't last.....especially if you go down a trail that has branches that will catch the mast.
The antenna mast screws into the antenna mount on the fender. Unscrew the old one and crew in the new one. If you need to replace the entire antenna mount, you will need a new antenna mount assembly with antenna cable.
To retract the power pin fly on a Grove crane boom, first ensure the crane is in a stable position and that all safety protocols are followed. Locate the retraction mechanism, typically found near the base of the fly. Activate the mechanism, usually by pressing a button or using a lever, while monitoring the boom's movement. Keep an eye on the indicators to ensure the fly retracts smoothly and securely into its stored position.

Remove wheels Re-install 2 lug nuts to hold rotor in place Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Remove inner and outer brake pads Fully retract piston into caliper body - may need a special tool (not expensive available at Sears or auto parts) Piston may be threaded if parking brake is used by this caliper Install new pads PUMP BRAKE PEDAL TO SET PADS AGAINST ROTOR PRIOR TO MOVING VEHICLE
You will need the tool to retract the calipers. The piston in the rear calipers have to be turned clockwise as you compress them back in.
I have the same problem on my Nissan Altima, it is the antenna motor. Replace it.
If the antenna is bent and won't retract fully, first, carefully try to straighten it by hand, being cautious not to apply too much force that could cause further damage. If it doesn't retract after straightening, check for any obstructions or debris in the mechanism. If the problem persists, consider consulting a professional for repair or replacement, as forcing it could lead to more significant issues.
The Cadillac XLR is a hard-top convertible. It only takes 30 seconds for the top to retract into the trunk.
First, examine the factors: The radio can be switched on, but there is no sound, and the antenna does not extend or retract. One possible solution could be replacing the fuse.
The calipers should turn back in with a big scredriver or such! you have to rotate the piston to retract them rotae the pistons clockwise with a large pair of pliers
Some electric powered antennas were made to not totally retract. 4 to 8 inches retracted size is about normal. Some electric powered antennas were made to not totally retract, 8 to 10 inches is about normal retraction length.
In earlier years when cars were first fitted with a radio, the aerial had to be manually extended. Later, before the antenna was secreted in the rear windscreen, it would extend and retract when the radio was turned on and off. P ant is abbreviation for power antenna.
