I do not believe that Cannabis would cause such extreme psychological repercussions, though accusations have been made. I think it is fairly common with meth psychosis and could like-wise result from other excessive hallucinogenic drug usage. The behavior also describes a symptom of the psychological disorder, schizophrenia. Which can be hereditary. Or...... it could be a radio signal from aliens that he is picking up with the chip that was placed in his brain.
From my experience, I would say it's paranoid psychosis, normally caused by cannabis consumption. Could this be right, if not if the person is late-middle aged or elderly, it could be dementia.

Lack of motivation does not automatically indicate a mental illness, as it can result from various factors such as fatigue, stress, or situational challenges. However, if persistent lack of motivation is accompanied by other symptoms like sadness, anxiety, or changes in behavior, it may warrant a closer look for potential mental health issues. It's essential to consider the context and duration of the lack of motivation before drawing any conclusions. Consulting a mental health professional can provide clarity and guidance.

Mental processes refer to internal cognitive activities such as thoughts, emotions, and perceptions, while outward behavior refers to observable actions. Mental processes provide the foundation for behavior but they do not always directly translate into observable actions.
