Can find no biblical reference to an Elia, only Eli and Elias. Eli means "My God" Eli was also a High Priest and judge, a descendant of Aaron though Ithamar , his younger son. The name Elias was placed upon many in the scriptures and means messenger of bringer of glad tidings. Elias was most likely the prophet Elijah.
