Italian

The most common are Italian, French, German, Russian and English, but there are operas in many other languages too. Opera is an art-form, and it can be written in any language the composer wants.

Usually in English, French, German, or Italian , but there really is no set language. The opera's language is chosen by the composer, not the singer.

It can be... Italian, French, German, Russian, Czech. There are probably more operas in Italian, but there are many in French, German and English.
