They use lotions that are expensive and the lights are specially shined on famous people to make them look better than they really are. All celebrities have make-up artists to make them look good for the cameras. Professional make-up artists know all sorts of tips and tricks to make the artists skin look perfect (or as close as possible) under all sorts of conditions - direct sunlight, under bright spotlights, when a celeb is feeling under the weather etc. For photo shoots, Photoshop is a star's best friend! Airbrushing hides a multitude of things like scars, uneven skin tones, and, yes, even zits and wrinkles. There is nothing mysterious or magical about it. Celebrities are just people, and some of them look just as rough as you or I first thing in the morning or on a day off running mundane errands. Also, I have found a lotion created by Jergens. Its called Body Shimmer or something like that. It's a golden color and it has tiny flecks of gold throughout. It gives your skin a very nice glow. I am a dancer and for shows and stageplays I'll use it on my face, (arms and legs if they are showing) to make my skin look pretty under the different colored spotlights on stage. And also the Jergens lotion is not expensive. Mine only cost 6 bucks and the bottle is about 12 ounces.
