Elvis (beloved) Mother, Gladys Presley, played an extra in the movie Elvis starred in entitled "Loving You". Gladys part was to sit in the stands and clap as Elvis performs on the stage in a blue jean jacket and Levi pants with the bottom of the Levi pants turned inside out.
This was one of two movies Elvis starred in that he refused to watch. The other was Jailhouse Rock due to his costar Judy Tyler's death, from an automobile accident, which occur ed shortly after Jailhouse Rock was completed and a few weeks before the movie was to be released to the general public.
