Ram Jam-1977
Answer The origin and meaning of the lyrics are subject to debate. Some sources claim the song is derived from an 18th century marching cadence about a flint-lock rifle with a black head-stock; the "bam-ba-lam" lyric referring to the sound of the gunfire. Soldiers in the field were said to be "hugging Black Betty". In this interpretation, the rifle was superceded by its "child", a rifle known as a "Brown Bess". Other sources claim the term was a contemporary reference for a prostitute, a prison bullwhip, heroin or the "paddywagon".

Immortal,Satyricon, Emperor & King Diamond (ex-Mercyful Fate singer) are some good black metal bands (Immortal is mainly the best but at least King Diamond 's not a satanist! although he likes to act like he is).
If you meant: What bands are like Black Veil Brides, I would say KISS, since their image is based on them or similar to. There names are Andy Biersack, Ashley Purdy, Jinxx, Jake Pitts, and Cristsian Coma, and one other who is no longer in the band sandrah ava. They are rock/metal/screamo band
They have sang about 127 cameos forother bands
There are many theories but I have heard that a "Black Betty" was a flint-lock musket with a black painted stock. In the song "bam-ba-lam" refers to the sound of the gunfire. And her child is kills she made. But Black Betty is an old African American slave song so who really knows. Other Theories Black Betty is a Black Chick... Black Betty is a VD... Black Betty is the stocks that misbehaving slaves where taken to be shot at.
Most onyx specimens contain bands of black and white, possibly with some shades of bluish-grey. The type of onyx called sardonyx features mostly red and yellow bands in various shades. Black onyx, although mostly black, also contains bands of various colors. Commercially available "black" onyx is often artificially colored.
he did "record" a black betty version, as did many other artists. it's on the album "Privat 2" http://daz.com/releases/Lynyrd%20Skynyrd/privat%202.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Betty *************EDIT: The original Skynyrd, with Ronnie Van Zant as the main vocalist, never recorded Black Betty. It is possible they covered the song, as it was popular back then, but it was not released on any of their albums. Somebody listed Black Betty as being done by Skynyrd on Limewire, but this version was not them. As for the Tribute Band (or, Current Lynyrd Skynyrd), I don't know, but there is no album entitled "Private 2", so the guy that typed what's up there was wrong. As well, Skynyrd is not a "He", it was a band (Ronnie Van Zant on vocals, Allen Collins, Gary Rossingon, Steve Gaines/Ed King on guitar, Leon Wilkeson on bass, and Artimus Pyle/Bob Burns on drums). ************** IMPROVEMENT: The song that's on Limewire and claims to be Lynyrd Skynyrd is a group called Ram Jet that recorded the song in 1977 and released as the first trach on their album "Ram Jet". NOT LYNYRD SKYNYRD
None at all. Other than they were both bands that released records.
1969 (Update by HCrawford Actually, The Doors have never recorded this song. It was originally recorded by The Animals in 1964. It's been covered countless times by other bands, but not The Doors.

This depends on what venue they are playing in, what other bands they are playing with, and if they are headlining or not. It could range from $10 to $30 for a normal headlining tour. If they play on a festival such as Mayhem or Warped, it is in the $100s because of the other bands playing.
Yes there is the first band that comes to mind is Escape the Fate. Other bands are Alesana, Asking Alexandria, and Black Veil Brides. *If anybody wants to add more metal/screamo/metalcore bands, feel free to add them
I think they're Best Friends like Betty&Veronica from Archie Comics because in the music video of the song 'Hook me up', one of them had blond hair like Betty and the other has black hair like Veronica. But in other videos such as 'Untouched' and 'Take me on the flour', both girls have black hair. So one of them must have died their hair black or the song 'Hook Me Up' is older and the girl with blond hair didn't have time to die her hair black yet. Thanks!
well yes you can I make them with hair bands and other bands
Both bands were challenging each other.
Raccoons do not have a black and white tail. Usually the tail is gray with rust or reddish bands. You may be thinking of the skunk which is black and white.
