The violin is a fully transposable instrument so does not have a "key" per se, unlike certain instuments that can be said to have a natural "key" such as horns, trumpets, etc. However, the lowest open string, and lowest possible note that can be played on the violin with standard tuning is "G." The upper open strings occurring by 5ths are "D" "A" "E"
A very large one. ^_^ the lowest pitch is G3 (G below middle C), and the highest pitch that I can hit is E7. That makes about 3 2/3 octaves. However, I've heard of people playing G7, which makes an even 4 octave range. Either way, it's big.
The pitches of the strings from lowest to highest of a violin are G, D, A, E, similar to the bass which has the same string pitches, but backwards.
Violas and Cellos have the pitches of strings from lowest to highest: C, G, D, A
The compass of the violin is from G3 (G below middle C) to the highest note of the modern piano. The top notes, however, are often produced by natural or artificial harmonics.
I believe that it is either 440 or 441, can't remember which. :S
The lowest string is G below middle C, the string above that is D next to middle C, the next string is A above middle C and the top string is E an octave above middle C.

The viola is one-seventh in size of the violin, and the violin is one-fifth higher in pitch.
You correct the pitch by either turning the pegs on the top of the violin or by turning the fine tuners near the bottom of the violin.
A cello can play in the range of a violin (much of it), if that's what you mean, but a violin's highest note is much higher than a cello's highest note.
The cello has a C string and is lower in pitch than the violin.
A violin pitch pipe produces the tune a violin should be in, separately for each cord. These would only be able to be used if that person had a very, very good ear for tuning.

The pitch of any violin string is changed depending on which spot on the fingerboard a finger is placed.

The Viola has a lower pitch than the violinbecause of its lower-pitched string (the "C" string) compared to the violin's much higher-pitched string (the "E" string).
Yes, the violin and cello are naturally concert pitch.
