Any material with sufficient strength can be made into a guitar. Brian May of Queen made his legendary Red Special guitar out of an oak fireplace mantel.
There where 4 band members to Queen Freddie Mercury (vocals + piano) Roger Talor (Drums) John Decon (Bass Guitar) Brian May (Lead Guitar)
The original Queen members were Freddie Mercury (leads vocal, pianist), Brian May (lead guitar, vocal), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocal). Hope this helps.

brian and his father built his guitar in the 60's mainly from an old oak fireplace. It is known as the 'red special' or 'fireplace' and has been used on pretty much every Queen recording apart from 'Crazy little thing called love' (where he used a Fender Telecaster), 'Innuendo' (a funny looking skull guitar) and 'Princes of the Universe' (where he used a Gibson flying V). The only things that were brought for the guitar was the pick ups which are made by Burns. There are commercial models of the guitar. Check out Brian May Guitars where they can be bought in a variety of colours :) (i have one personally)

Freddie Mercury does lead vocals, piano and some guitar Brian May plays lead guitar and provides some vocals and keyboard Roger Taylor does percussion and provides some vocals John Deacon plays the bass guitar
Guitar Hero 1 has the song "Killer Queen."
I think it was Roger Taylor ----- That's right, it was Roger Meddows-Taylor. Yes,Roger Taylor was definatley playedthe drums and I'm 100% sure of that and as a matter of fact I am a very big fan of him.Roger Taylor was also in a band called the "Smile" and I think Brian May was in it with Roger too.

The recording of the Show Must Go On was done using the Red Special, as was the case with nearly all Queen songs.
