'Big Yellow Taxi' by Joni Mitchell.
Joni Mitchell originally wrote Big Yellow Taxi about her father getting arrested. At the time, the police cars in Mitchell's hometown of Toronto were yellow. The Counting Crows did a cover of the song with Vanessa Carlton, which is the most popular version.
Personally, I believe joni is referring to "The Garden of Allah" apartment complex that was on the sunset strip. It was built in 1919 & was torn down in 1959, replaced with a bank, parking lot, &a strip mall.. makes sense, huh?
this song is by Cinderella and its called Dont know what you got (till its gone)
Madonna ft. Justin Timberlake--4 minutes
That's almost it. "City Where the Streets are Paved with Gold". It's based on Revelation 21:21: "The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass." So, as you see, the Bible doesn't say, "paved" (or streets either -- it's one street).

Not unless the stone used to pave the parking lot contained fossils.

India should be PAVED. It'll cut down on vermin & Europe needs the parking.
Asphalt is used most often in the construction of roads, parking lots, walkways, and other paved surfaces
A carpark is also known as a parking lot. Whatever the name, it is an area paved in asphalt and contains parking spaces where vehicles are left unattended while drivers walk to nearby buildings and locations.

If you have a shopping cart moving because you pushed it in the parking lot and it then goes on to grass, it will slow down. The opposite would be true if you started from grass, gave a shove and then it moved on to a parking lot.
