Yeah so these are the main ones, that were struggles she had to overcome.
- Being poor. Selena and her family were a low income class family. They had many struggles. So when Selena and Los Dinos started slowly to have their hits, they obviously didn't have much trouble as before.
- Sexism. Tejano was a male dominated genre. Woman rarely and was not expected to succeed. basically when Selena came, she put Tejano back on the market. She practically redefined Tejano. Something that male singers didn't do.
