Hi, its just like any other or the kind you would use for fridges & frezzers. Its alot cheeper the go thru a company who dose fridge repair and so-forth, then to go to the dealership were you got the car. Dealerships can run from$200.00-$600.00, were as the fridge guys are at least half that, but still a spendy item to have done. Good luck!
I connect my wires to the fog lights connection, that way I had control from inside the car to turn them on or off.

Turn the key to the ON position (do not start the car). Leave it that way for approx. one hour. Then the radio will go back to the CODE sequence. You will then need to enter the correct code to get the radio to work.

You need to call a Mitsubishi dealer or Mitsubishi itself if you want to find it out.

Disconnect battery, if light comes back on you need to get the code read and repair the error.
I was told for a 1997 MitEclips you need to replace the driver's side air bag - which has the contacts for the horn. Ed F
The Mitsubishi Eclipse radio code is the code that makes your radio work. You need to put this code in any time you disconnect the battery.
You need to get a special harness if you do not want to cut the wires. If you need have infinity system you will need a special harness (see the link below).
Full name of Eclipse is Mitsubishi Eclipse (GS, RS, GT)... You need to correct your question.
I believe you need to drive it so the ECM relearns it's idle.
A 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse uses standard 10w30 motor oil. This provides a good balance of protection for the engine components and viscosity.
