Saxophones require swabs - I use a big one for the body, a small one for the neck, and a silk cloth for the mouthpiece. Use these to clean the water out of the instrument after it's played, every time.

You should lubricate the cork at the top of the body where the neck goes on with cork grease every now and then.

Reeds. I have a supply of several stiffnesses, and also carry a couple of plastic-coated reeds just in case. I also carry several different brands. I seem to always come back to Ricos or LaVoz reeds, though. If you are a pro, then you will probably use higher quality reeds. But if you are a pro, you already know that.

Some people like to use a reed trimmer to fine-tune the thin edge of the reed.

Light oil to lube all the various moving parts. Apply the oil with a very fine-tipped little bottle. If you cannot find them at the music store, look in a hobby store that carries model train sets.

Use a clean, soft cotton or silk cloth to thoroughly wipe down the outside of the sax every time after you play it.

I like to use tone key pad papers to clean the keypads every couple of weeks. A lot of players use a folded in half dollar bill, but the papers have a super-fine powder to help keep the pads from sticking to the tone holes.

Get a small supply of clothespins or bulldog clips to hold music sheets to your stand if you play outdoors.
