Corey Taylor's childhood was very problematic. A lot of neglect and abuse at the hands of growing up without a father and in poverty. Corey had a lot of self esteem issues along with depression and anxiety. He was bullied a lot for being short and small. He suffered from severe ADHD along with drug addictions. He grew to hate his father for the fact of him running off on the family at a young age. The only escape Corey ever found was music. Corey still screams for attention from everyone to make up for his childhood. He loves it. He still has his demons, but he is learning to deal with them in more positive manners.
