Vito Carnevali [July 4, 1888-c. 1960] was born and died in Rome, Italy. He was a classical musical composer who was known best for his four part Mass settings. Among his most famous works were his Missa 'Auxilium Christianorum', Missa 'Ave Verum', Missa 'Mater Amabilis', Missa 'Rosa Mystica', and Missa 'Stella Matutina'. He lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois; New York City; and Algiers, Algeria before returning home to Rome.
