When Elvis was drafted he was at the top of his career and it put a hold on his career. At the time he was making movies and producing albums. His PR people tried to keep him in the spotlight by publishing photos of him in uniform and I think he did make a movie while in the army. It was in the army he met Priscilla and she was a teenager. A few years after he was out and she was older she moved in with him and they soon married. The rest is history.
