it is a form of shelter in which you use sticks leaned up against a rock or a wall or anything like that then cover it with debris to block the wind
it looked alot like today, but the only thing is that they grew alot more crops and they had more trees and almost no houses, mostly just lakes and trees. the people were mostly on ships and they were on land for a very short period of time so that pretty much explains the geography and why it was like that
