Despite being extremely talented, she seemed to lack confidence, and made poor decisions about relationships, as well as getting involved in drugs and alcohol. She was known to be very kind and generous (often too generous, and to the wrong people); most of her faults (such as erratic behavior, or pushing people away when they tried to help her) were either the result of her addictions, or the fact that she was addicted made her faults worse.
