What would cause a 2002 Ford Focus SE sedan to not start when turning over and after 2 minutes not want to hold an idle and loses complete power unless foot is on gas and brake?

Check the fuel pressure. If the pressure drops after the engine has been run for a few minutes it could be a worn pump or a plugged fuel filter. Check those and if you're still having problems check back. Thanks so much - I will have those checked if it continues to give me problems, however the dealership can't get the car to replicate the problem. But I will have them check that. They seem to think I got a bad tank of gas - would that cause this too?
