Well, if it just sat there, all it would need is a good cleaning. You might also want to see if the pads have dried out. Otherwise, it should be in the same shape it was in when you last put it into its case. Okay thanks I am trying to buy one on line so I dont really know Iguess I will have to go see it and see if I can tell thanks again- wondering if I should just buy new its for my 9year old son just starting out
