He played the alternate for Chip the tea cup when he was 9 years old on Broadway. He started in the role in the end of 2001, right after Annie Get Your Gun ended its run. He stayed in the role until around October-November 2002. He was about to sign a contract for another 6 months when he was offered a role in Les Miserables.
