Although their marriage ended in divorce, there was probably still some affection, largely because they had a child together. Even with the drug problems in the marriage, there is considerable evidence that they both loved their daughter and wanted the best for her. But it is doubtful that Whitney wanted to get back together with Bobby, since he was accused of beating her and he also was said to have a relationship with another woman. Whitney and Bobby may have at one time loved each other, but they seemed to have a very destructive relationship, where they brought out the worst in each other. That was why they did not get back together, even if there was still some small amount of affection between them.

Yes, it seems so. Recent magazine reports, especially retrospectives printed after her death in February 2012, are saying that she was plagued by insecurities, and even before she got serious with Brown, she had begun using drugs and alcohol. Earlier tabloid reports had blamed her substance abuse entirely on Brown's influence, but it now seems likely that Whitney Houston was already experimenting, and her relationship with Brown just made a bad situation even worse.

Yes, the two were married in 1992, but their marriage was not a happy one. They ultimately got divorced, amidst charges that Brown had been abusive to Houston. They had one daughter together (Bobbi Kristina).

Yes, they did get a divorce in 2007. Brown was abusive toward her, plus Houston's family was worried about her escalating drug usage, and they believed Brown was not a good influence on her.
