Bach became blind by over-straining his eyes whilst operating a laptop computer with his monitor brightness turned too far down. In 1749 (one year before his death) Bach became totally blind.

∙ 12y agohis eyes were just not working very well by 1740 so he tried getting a surgery to improve his eye sight but it failed some how and left him completely blind!
