im alive by casting crowns
The band name Casting Crowns came from the book of Revelation, where it is shown that people cast their crowns at his (Jesus') feet.Specifically Revelation 4:10 "The twenty-four elders fall down before him, who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They cast or lay their crowns before the throne at his feet, saying..."

A personal walking-around relationship/ friendship with Jesus Christ and God! Also, the Church, the Body of Christ.
While You Were Sleeping. By Casting Crowns. I love them and a good song with a powerful message.

Casting Crowns is a Grammy-award winning band formed in 1999 that is usually categorised under the genre of Christian rock. As with most other artists in this genre, the lyrics and themes of their music is concerned with elements of Christian faith, often praising God or Jesus. The albums of their discography includes their self-titled album 'Casting Crows' on 2003, 'Peace on Earth' in 2008, and 'Come to the Well' in 2011 amongst others.
One day we will wear heavenly crowns, but Jesus has not left us without crowns in the present. These crownsare not literal, but figurative.
Um, they are EXTREMELY busy and don't really have "spare time". When they are not touring (they usual tour Thursday- Saturday), they are busy with being youth-pastors or youth-related stuff because all seven member ARE youth pastors/workers. (This is their primary job not Crowns.) But, if they are not doing youth-related stuff they are spending time with their spouses and kids and/or their one-on-one time with Jesus!
Jesus Christ Superstar was composed by Andrew Loyd Webber, lyrics by Tim Rice.
No. They're goth/horror. Their lyrics and titles are all bloody (not Jesus' blood) and have nothing Christian about them. They don't have good meanings in their songs like Stained Glass Masquerade by Casting Crowns (a Christain band) or songs that praise Jesus like Glory by Jeremy Camp. (a Christian artist)Catherine, is not a Christian band.
Me! I'm infuenced by Casting Crowns in numerous ways. There music is so inspiring and has great messages! One thing that really draws me is the honesty and the passion of the lyrics. It challenges me to step-up to the plate and to grow deeper in my relationship/ friendship with Jesus Christ so I can see the world the way Jesus sees the world! When you hear one of their songs, it make you stop and think. The "church, the body of christ" is influenced by their music because of the powerful lyrics and the sermons with in them. "One of the unique aspects of Mark's songs that has endeared so many people to the music of Casting Crowns is his ability to make you feel like you're listening to the heart of a good friend. He can ask you tough questions and you're not offended because you know he's wrestling with the same questions. He can challenge you because you sense that he's simply inviting you into the place where he has been challenged. He can offer you encouragement, and you know it's coming from a place of hurt and hope that has been lived anmd not just imagined for the purpose of writing a song. You never feel like you're getting "preached at," and yet his songs contain some of the most profound sermons." Steven Curtis Chapman (Lifestories By Mark Hall, Foreward page X).
