How can you become famous in stickam?
Before I begin, if you don't have a cam, don't continue reading this. Stickam is a live, interactive website. It's not myspace where you add random people because it's your insecure, shy, and only way to tell them you think they're attractive or you have an interest in them. If you don't have a cam, don't sign up.Firstly, before you think about becoming famous you are going to need to have good looks and be old enough to participate in any activity or events (being at least 16 is a good age). Any younger and you won't get as much respect and will not be treated the same. Remember, you need to be at least 14 to register and be apart of the community.If you think saying looks has nothing to do with becoming famous on stickam, you're wrong. This whole website is based around 16-18 year old great looking people. There is not one fat, ugly, gross, nasty person on stickam that is efamous.Honestly, there aren't really any "famous" people, because stickam is like real life where you have your cliques and groups of kids that stick together (scene kids, emo kids, preppy kids, ewhores, etc), but in general there are a few famous people.Also understand that it takes A LOT of time to get known on stickam.Now, to begin you are going to want to start going into some popular chatrooms and getting to know the popular people (or, "regulars"), who are famous or know famous people. They have started off just like you, and have worked their way up. You will want to start by getting right into the conversation, and if you can be funny this will definitely help because most chatrooms use esarcasm and joke around most of the time. If you aren't very confident and are shay, just slowly start talking and figure out who the main regulars and famous people are in the chatroom. Say stuff like "lol" and agree with them. A great chatroom to go into is stickydrama, this room is filled with the famous people on stickam, it's based off of stickydrama.com (a website showing off the latest news about the famous kids on stickam, as well as nudes and dirty information).Once you have got a good amount of friends, and are cool with some of the well-known people in a chatroom, start to go live. This will bring more attention to you, bring in more viewers, and ultimately help you gain popularity. Once you have been going live for a few weeks, have a good amount of regular viewers, apply for an entertainer account. This will make you be on the homepage when people click the "Shows" tab. This will bring in over double the amount of viewers and friend requests you had previously.Now that you are recognizable member, start going into famous peoples lives, you have a better chance of them saying "oh hey! you're so and so, this person told me about you", versus just signing up, randomly going into the live, and trying to start a conversation or talking to them. Plus, with all of your friends and since you're a stickam entertainer, they will probably have more interest in you.Once you're cool with the famous and well-known people on stickam, keep going live, talking to more famous people, and keep working at it. There's not much to it. Becoming stickam famous takes a lot of time, effort, and work.Is it really worth it?Some people say it is, others say it won't matter in the long run. However, I am somewhat known in stickam group chats. Many people know me on multiple accounts. I'm willing to participate in discussion, I get to know people before I judge, and I take caution of higher ranked users (ex. mods, host, admins). However, I may be a girl, but I personally don't think I have great looks. There are some some-what stickam famous users who don't go on cam regularly. Those are the ones who are on contstantly and always talk. It's not always about looks and age. It can be about personality, rank, or just your typing style in general. If you don't show off, act stupid, or bash known users, you're pretty much able to become whatever you want.If you're not dedicated, it's not worth trying. I indeed do go on quite a bit, however I don't need to make a grand entrance. Once you're known, people see you enter and you're name will be instantly said by users in the main chat. As long as you pay attention to people talking to you, listen to higher ranks, and don't be too harsh on people, you have the potential of becoming at least a bit efamous.Yes, I happen to be a mod in stickam chatrooms, however, I don't abuse my powers. Neither should you as a user. If you try too hard, mods, hosts, and stickam admins as well have the right to kick/ban you from the chatroom and stickam itself. So be cautious of how you act while trying to become efamous on stickam. (NOTE: a big step to help become famous on stickam is to find those who are a little known and work your way up to becoming friends with well known users. It's not easy becoming some-what friends with an admin (along with a few bands), but I have. I'm pretty sure it's possible to become friends with almost anyone. It's also possible to do almost anything on stickam if you have the knowledge on how to do it, and do it well.) Good luck!
