British Invasion song by The Honeycombs...went to number 5 in 1964
To my knowledge, The Honeycombs in the 1960 to 1965 era, used Guitars made by Burns UK, Burns London, Burns/Baldwin, Burns Ampeg. One or all of these versions. The Guitars seen in a video on youtube show they are playing the Burns Bison model with the deep double cutaways with horn like bouts. Burns himself was innovative and added several features on guitars that most builders wouldn't do. The Mandolin/Violn/Fiddle scroll headstock was a limited production. The guitarists of course also played a variety of guitars throughout the years but most noticeably are the unique Burns models. Would love to find one for my collection.
Have I The Right was sung by The Honeycombs and was a hit in 1964. It was later cover by a group called The Dead End Kids in 1977. It was also covered by several other artists both at the time in 1964 and as recently as 2010. Most of those are listed on my site thehoneycombs.info
