what are your motives. is it that you love the person, or are they rebound for you? are you actually over your ex? now you have to ask whether she wants you. does she actually want a relationship? is this an excuse she is giving you? you've told her, so leave it at that. don't contact her anymore and see what happens. leave it for now. you asked her for space to get over your ex, now leave her to think it through.
