Where and where did hip-hop origate?

The answer to this question is the Bronx,NY. Hip Hop started in the Bronx and then branched out all across the globe. The thing that still stuns me though is the fact that NJ is right next to NY and there are not that many MCs that come from NJ.

A new one that I found to like a lot is named Darcello "Diamondz" Porter and he has this new single called: Gore-Tex Music!

Hip hop is widely believed to have originated in the South Bronx neighborhood of New York City in the late 1970s. The cultural movement is said to have emerged from the social and economic struggles of African American and Latinx communities in the Bronx during that time period. DJ Kool Herc is often credited as one of the pioneers of hip hop, and he is said to have hosted some of the earliest hip hop parties in the Bronx in the mid-1970s. Other early hip hop figures from the Bronx include Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, and the Rock Steady Crew.
