The best place to hear Chopin's Funeral March is at an actual funeral, however, as it is not recommended that you crash a funeral, the next best place to hear it would be to go to your local music store and see if they have it on a CD.
No, Chopin never married but he was betrothed at one point, to Maria Wodzinska, until the girl's mother put an end to the relationship due to her concerns about Chopin's health.

Nocturne in E flat major, op. 9 no. 2 ....... no...i don't think so...I play piano myself and i am up to 7th grade. I currently play the Nocturne in E flat major, op. 9 no. 2 and it is NOT his most famous plece. It is very famous but the most famous one is Ø Fantaisie- Impromptu in C sharp minor, Opus posthumous 66 The Nocturne No.2 is more famous to the ordinary person. But the Fantasie-Impromptu is more famous to the piano player What about his Funeral March?? Is that not pretty well known?? How about the Waltz in D-flat... sometimes called the minute waltz because it can be played in one minute! :D Most famous doesn't necessarily mean best, although his work is consistently brilliant. I think his most famous piece is the A flat Polonaise.
Frederic Chopin wrote classical music and most of his music was composed for the piano. He was from Poland and considered one of the classical greats.

There are a few famous funeral dirges. "Funeral March" by Chopin is the one commonly heard on cartoons. A number of funeral marches are heard in Purcell's "Funeral Music for Queen Mary." Handel's "Dead March" is also used a lot at funerals. Thomas Attwood wrote a march titled "Dirge" for Admiral Nelson's funeral. I hope one of these is the one you're looking for. You can hear samples of all of these at Amazon, CD Universe, etc.
