If you know the make model and serial #,you might try Sweetwater.com,Parts is Parts.com, or if it's a name brand such as Fender or Gibson try their website

Fender and Gibson do not list their prices on their site. They will show list price only. No one pays list.

It's worth whatever people are willing to pay...I think it's all up to the buyer.

You can ask here. Post it's year, weather or not its all original and do you have the case? Just post the specs... Color,year, hang tags? Stuff like that...

The best way to find the resale value of any instrument would be first to check your local on- and offline classifieds as well as your neighborhood music shop (most will offer second hand instruments alongside their regular retial stock). Beyond that, take a look at SOLD listings on sites like eBay for the same year & style of your guitar. The trick is to look at what has closed and actually sold - a person can ask any amount for an item, but it doesn't mean someone else will buy...
