In reality there is no music, other than very (very) old music (normally called "Classical" or "Classical composers"), that is not copyrighted. Even if it is 'free' it is still under a copyright (normally called a GNU copyright). Search engines can provide links to GNU copyrighted music, too numerous to list here.

To use Katy Perry's song "Roar" without copyright issues, you would need to obtain a proper license. This typically involves contacting the rights holders, such as the music publisher or record label, and negotiating a licensing agreement. Alternatively, you could look for royalty-free music that captures a similar vibe but is not copyrighted. Always ensure that you have the right permissions to avoid legal issues.

Try to find uncopyrighted music for a montage that you'll be putting up on Youtube. :) (Don't know any great ones on the top of my head) And it all depends on your taste in music.
Yes.
Audioswap or ask the record label to let you use it. You can also find songs marked 'Public domain' or 'Creative Commons' in which case you can use it for free. Commons requires you to credit the author. "Public domain" means that the copyright has expired or never existed or that the copyright owners have permanently waived all of their rights. This is extremely rare.
I am terribly sorry to burst your bubble, but everything that downloads copyrighted music for free is illegal. The companies who make the software get away with it because they say that it is intended for uncopyrighted music. If you use it to download a copyrighted song, you are held responsible and can pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. Not to mention, it could contain some viruses. I wouldn't recommend it. Stick with iTunes, AmazonMP3, eMusic, Napster, and Rhapsody. -Hope this Helps!
