Perhaps somebody is having a little joke with San Bernardino. I think by now just about everybody in the world knows that the Rolling Stones and its members did not emerge from the dusty summer night and drive-ins of Southern California.
The Rolling Stones and its members are from England (close to London mostly), so not surprisingly, their first public concert was in London, on 12 July 1962 at the Marquee Club. The club was still at its original location then, on the Soho stretch of Oxford Street at the corner of Poland Street. This is in central London, in England. Apart from four shows in Wales, one in Canada, and two in Scotland, all of their performances over the next two years were in England.
Then they played their one-and-only concert in that San Bernardino Auditorium two years later on 5 June 1964. It was their first tour-date show in North America, but not their first concert in North America. They played at the Ottawa Auditorium (Canada) on 24 April 1964, before venturing"South of the Border" to San Bernardino.
Mick and Keith knew each other at 4 but got separated and met up again with Keith knowing how to play guitar and Mick loving to sing then they met someone named Brian Jones who knew how to play many insterments then they formed a band but still they needed a drummer so Brian told Mick&Keith about some named charlie watts that knew how to play the drums then they officially created THE ROLLING STONES! PS The first song they wrote was as tears go by wich is a really great song
