Some people think it started in New Orleans whereas some people believe that it actually originated in France. Both claim to have invented jazz at ar well i really doesn't know where it started because i got to do a project about it and i am asking you guys about it so you need to know or i will be goig to google and google will be making lots of money off you guys.

It actually started on a farm in Delta, Mississippi around the late 1800's or early 1900's.
