It's a challenge to get to Usher's label on your own. Most major labels require a well known entertainment attorney or manager to present the demo to them on your behalf. What you can do is to get their attention is to get a show at a major venue in a city where Usher's label has offices. Then contact an A&R rep at his label in that city, provide links to your MySpace or website so they can see who you are and listen to your music, and end with an invite to your show. Be sure to put them on your guest list usually with a +1. If someone comes - it's probably not going to be a VP. More likely an intern or entry level staffer. But - if they like you they'll talk about you back at the office.
