yes it does but i do not know where it goes to, i have a 98 and my vacuum line came off and is still connnected to the tranny

The same place that you check the level of the transmission fluid. The tube that the dipstick goes in is so large so that the fluid will flow down it easily. However, you may need a special funnel, one that has a very long neck, in order to be able to get the fluid into the tube. These are sold at all auto parts stores, and many other places. Check the level frequently, to insure that you do not over fill the transmission.

A 1998 Oldsmobile 88 takes ATP automatic transmission fluid. This is sold in most places that carry transmission fluid, or you can buy it through a dealer.

When changing the transmission fluid and filter of a car, it is best to know how much transmission fluid goes back into the car. The 1998 Bravada takes close to 12 quarts of transmission fluid to fill.
