Most likely it is in the power distribution box located on the passenger side of the engine compartment just aft of the battery. Open the cover, there is a diagram on the underside of the cover.

∙ 17y agoOn my 1993 it doesn't have a control module.....It has a crank shaft position sensor, a distributer sensor, and a power management computer. So, it's a series of sensors that replace the module. First, you need to find out if your Jeep has a module. I have the Hanes manuel but, it says that a 93 has a module which is not true. Not sure what else to tell you except good luck.

∙ 10y agoThe ignition fuse on a \'96 Jeep Grand Cherokee is in the fuse box It is usually located on the passenger side on the corner of the dash.

The Transmission Control Module for your Grand Cherokee is located under the driver side of the instrumentation console (underneath the dash) up against the fire wall near the outside of the vehicle. You should be able to see it with a flashlight as the TCM has and orange/yellow connector.

You can reach it from the bottom without removing anything, but it is easier of you remove the bottom of the dash.
