I do not believe there is such a thing as a tcu. there is an ECM (engine control module), and a TPS (throttle positioning sensor) TCU: Transmission Control Unit. On a Jeep Cherokee (not sure about the Grand Cherokee), it's located on the passenger side behind the dash. You can reach it from the bottom without removing anything, but it is easier of you remove the bottom of the dash.
The TCU on a 98 Cherokee Sport is located under the center consul.
On my cherokee, I found it easier to access it from under steering column. Ther are 5 screws and you are there.
The grand Cherokee is a body style, sport is a trim package that is used on all jeep models(wrangler, Cherokee, grand Cherokee, patriot, ...)
The factory radio does not have an aux Jack.
A 1998 Jeep Cherokee has disc brakes in the front.

in the fuel tank
It doesn't have EGR
The shift solenoid B is located on the engine section on the automatic transmission for the 98 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Sport.
probably a fuel leak somewhere .
The stock rim size is 15 inch.
blend door failure is a common problem on 97+ Jeep Cherokee
If the radio is not working on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport it might be a blown fuse. Try the CD player to see if that works. If the CD player works then it might be an antenna problem.
