more info to my question... I rebuilt the carb so needle seat is new and make sure to turn off the petcock.. float is good and adjusted properly. But astill fills crankcase with fuel... Friend says check fuel pump, if diaphragm perforated it could pump fuel into crankcase.. Could the fuel pump do this? I'm not sure if this makes sense or not in realtion to the problem, as I don;'t know where the fuel pump gets it's vaccumn...

you need to get knew rings the gas is going to the botem end try that You could have leaky needle valve in the carb. The float could have a hole in it and gas leaking into the float causing the float to drop too low in the bowl and allowing too much gas into the system. Mis adjusted float.

The earlier Quadracers (85-87) have plain, dark aluminum colored frame and motor. In '88 they began to paint the frame and motor the Suzuki blue. Also, the earlier models had a 5-speed transmission, while the later ones (88-92) had a 6-speed transmission. I've also heard that the earlier model years had issues with head gaskets. The later model years had an extra bolt to help with this problem. In '92 they also changed the rear suspension in the Quadracers.

They are typically covered in mud so it is easier to find the oil filter which is a round cover with 3 acorn nuts around it. The sight glass is to the front and a little lower than that housing.
