This is a small device that is screwed into the engine block very close to the oil filter. It will have two wires plugged into it, probably in one black insulation. To remove, unplug the wire from it and back it out with a wrench. These things are made of plastic bonded to metal and as such are easily breakable, but on the other hand they are relatively inexpensive.
