auto trans it is mounted drivers side (left) bolted to trans where shift cable is mounted follow the shaft going into trans and switch is bolted to trans with shaft through middle of it most time switch is not bad it is just out of adjustment from worn linkage connections .loosen bolts on switch and rotate switch until it starts in park switch is adjustable make sure you chock wheels front and rear with e-brake on for your safety
